Own DNS Nameservers

Hello all,

I want to use Azure DNS Service but I want personalized DNS Name Servers. For example, I want Name Servers to be:

ns1.mydomain.com
ns2.mydomain.com
ns3.mydomain.com
ns4.mydomain.com

instead

ns1-35.azure-dns.com.
ns2-35.azure-dns.net.
ns3-35.azure-dns.org.
ns4-35.azure-dns.info.

Is that possible and how can be configured?

I am afraid your requirement is not possible.

Please note that while creating a domain in Azure, the name servers assigned to you are not unique to your domain (there is no 1:1 mapping).

These nameservers may be mapped to other domains in Azure as well.

And this makes sense, as the DNS resolution is provided by the Azure Architecture to various domains and the name servers belong to Azure.

So, customizing them is not something that can be done.
