extend Datacenter Activation by licenses provided in 365 Admin Center

First, I know the method to extend activations. I need the enrollment/agreement number, as have done it in the past.

This year when I purchased 3 Datacenter licensees, they were provided in 365 admin center.

The issue/problem; Microsoft is saying they need an agreement/enrollment number to extend the activation limit, but the Microsoft reseller is unable to provide the agreement/enrollment number

I purchased the licenses in Jan 2022, 3 licenses for almost 18k. I was only able to activate 8 VM's, and now I am stuck as I cannot get support. (The VM’s are running in a VMware ESXi environment with 3 physical servers.)

Anyone at Microsoft able to assist other than telling me I need the enrollment/agreement number?

If the reseller isn't helping, who can I complain too? (although they have asked Microsoft to show them where to find the information they are needing to extend the activation and never a response).

A DataCenter license provides for unlimited hosting but does not provide unlimited activations of host product key. In order to make use of unlimited hosting you should install a DataCenter host and use AVMA activations. This also provides the benefit of allowing activation ranging from Server 2012 R2 to Server 2022 both editions.

Do you know how to implement AVMA in ESXI, as I thought AVMA was for Windows Server Hyper V

So even though my activations are at 0, if I set up a Datacenter host in ESXi, I will be able to activate my current Windows VM's?

So what your saying, Datacenter is for Hyper V use only. If I use ESXi, I should purchase Standard license to activate VM's, because Datacenter cant be used in ESXi.
