Microsoft Graph Calendar API: reminder

Question

If I push the request body with "reminderMinutesBeforeStart": "1440" using Microsoft Graph calendar api while creating an event, if i sent a client an event invitation who uses gmail/google calendar/yahoo calendar, The reminder will appear. I am hearing different thing like Google calendar/yahoo calendar is out of Microsoft reach. reminder will work only in Microsoft calendar.

I had this question before that the reminder for client who has Google calendar was not working. I was asked to raise a support ticket. I cannot put support ticket. I do not have that privilege. Therefore, I would like to get confirmation on my question.
