Thanks for your reply. What is a "component modifier"? I have downloaded the Image Library and extracted the "ComponentFile.svg". It does not give further information.

Hello, you can refer to: Image and Icons for Visual Studio.
For small project icons, it generally contains two elements: a base element and a modifier.

I suppose Icons are created to serve your project. It can make your Visual Studio IDE clearer and simplified.
