I have a static web app to which I added custom domain through azure DNS.The one with sub domain (www) works perfectly fine but the apex domain.receives this error.

I tried this with a provider who might rhyme with yobaddy. They only support forwarding on the apex and don't allow you to point to a URL. That doesn't work for the certificate over https unless you can get the apex domain and the sub-domain (www) onto the same SWA. After failing to make this work for a few hours, I just exported all of my DNS records over to an Azure DNS Zone and then updated the name servers in yobaddy to point to Azure. Then I was able to validate the TXT record on the apex domain through the SWA and Azure DNS. I also chatted and spoke with 4 people at yobaddy and none of them had any idea how to resolve this. All the best!
