- The 0xc1900101 error code may be caused by encrypting the drive with BitLocker. The steps to turn off BitLocker encryption are as follows:
Control Panel\System and Security\BitLocker Drive Encryption\Turn off BitLocker
- Restart the computer after turning off the .Net function and try to update, the steps are as follows:
Control Panel\Programs\Turn Windows features on or off\Uncheck ".NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)"
- Boot the computer to BIOS, find "Secure Boot", change the operating system type to "Windows UEFI" and restart.
- If the disk space is insufficient, it may cause error code 0xc1900101. So make sure you have enough disk space.
- Open cmd and run "chkdsk" command to fix potential hard disk errors.
