hello all,
we use Word (Office 2021) and some users complain that word automatically switches to read-only mode when the pc goes into power save mode.

This problem is related to the settings of Windows, Word has no settings on this aspect.
Are the Word documents located on a network share/mounted storage drive?
By default on Power Save the network gets disconnected, so the access on the document and then you can not longer edit the Word document, until you re-opened it.

Hi Olaf Helper, please can you provide references to the documentation which indicates this : "By default on Power Save the network gets disconnected," ? And do you know the standard method to configure Power Save in order not to have this disconnection ? Thanks in advance.
