hyper-v: moving virutal mcahine with symlink

Question

i have the windows server 2019 datacenter with hyper-v. i have a vm that i want to moving on the san device. i read guide https://blogs.msmvps.com/virtualreality/2009/03/26/how-to-manipulate-hyper-v-vm-symbolic-links-or-how-to-unregister-and-register-virtual-machines-without-deleting-them/ but this guide is for vm that has config file xml. in windows server 2019 datacenter hyper-v config file is vmcx. what i do? can you give me some guide
