Nested Room resources

I have two small conference rooms that, when a divider is moved, converts into one large conference room.

In the Exchange Admin Center, I have set up three separate Room resources to handle booking each room.

At the moment, users are able to book meetings in each room. However, if a user books a meeting in one of the smaller rooms, there is no notification or timeslot blocking that happens in the room resource for the large room configuration. This leads to scheduling conflicts, as users are able to book timeslots for the smaller room configuration without blocking off the time for the large room.

Is there a way to have nested room resources? I cannot see a way to accomplish this in the Exchange Admin Center.

Hi @Gabe

There is no such thing as nested room resources.

A neat idea that I came across is creating a mail flow rule that adds another recipient to the booking (see Joy Zhang's response):
