we are facing issue when writing the data into dwh for datetime2 column

Hi team ,

we have a date column in the table , and we are writing the data into dwh , in DWH we have created a table with datetime2 ,

column datetime2 not null,

when we give nvarchar() we are able to load the data but when we declare datetime2 , we are facing issue like the below -

Unexpected error encountered filling record reader buffer: IllegalArgumentException: Must be 12 bytes.

can you please help us in case if it supports .

"we have a date column in the table " , is is this a SQL table , External etc . ?

Yes we have data as a string in databricks dataframe , but my target is sql dwh , but the table structure in dwh is of datatime2 , as of now I am using cast() , is there any alternative method to convert the string type to timestamp or date or integer type , and another query is does primary key supports in dwh , I could see from the documents is no , can you please give me a bit more clarity on this , Thanks
