Can't Sign into Gmail in Outlook

Within the last week, all computers that I have Outlook installed on to use a particular Gmail account have been logged out of the Gmail account. When I try to log back in, I get to the page that has the app permissions ("Microsoft apps & services wants to access your Google account"), but the allow and deny buttons at the bottom are grayed out, so I can't complete the login process. When I try to log in using the "Find my account" option, I get the error message, "The browser you're using doesn't support Javascript, or has Javascript turned off." I followed the steps in the following article (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/error-this-web-browser-does-not-support-javascript-or-scripts-are-being-blocked-when-adding-a-google-workspace-account-b7cbc25e-5b2d-459a-97b8-c8b6adc7b2d4) to allow Javascript in Outlook, but I still get the same results. My default browser is Google Chrome, and Javascript is enabled there as well. I'm not sure what steps to take next to fix this problem.

    Issue:
Can't Sign into Gmail in Outlook, due to the allow and deny buttons at the bottom are grayed out.

    Solution:
OP added the following key to the registry on all of the affected computers, and was able to log in no problem:

    HKLM:\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION
    Name: OUTLOOK.EXE
    Value: 11000 (DWORD, decimal)

    Hi @Clueless Outlook ,

    Welcome to our forum!

Based on my test in Outlook 365, i can add my Gmail account successfully. Considering it may be affected by the default browser, it's suggested that you could switch your default browser and then add the Gmail account to Outlook New profile ((Control Panel>Mail>Show Profiles>add) - For example, if you are using Internet Explorer temporarily switch your browser to Edge or Chrome. Or if you are using Edge switch your browser to Internet Explorer or Chrome. You can also clear the browser cache before configuration. After you add the Gmail account to Outlook, set the default browser back to your preferred setting.

On the other hand, I found an official article about Gmail, which introduced the third party account access: Manage third-party apps & services with access to your account. Please check if Microsoft apps have access.

In addition, I found a thread in which some users mentioned that it is useful to end the Outlook process completely and restart or try enabling the 'less secure apps' option and some other suggestions. It’s suggested that you could refer to the methods in this: ALLOW button grayed out on prompt to allow 3rd party sites & apps access setting up gmail w/outlook.

Yes Google want you to use Web interface with commercial content.
If you want to use it in Outlook desktop or any deferent email client then you should switch off security and add permission to use another less saved application :P

After that then you should receive message on web and agree used link.
Then you're Outlook 'll have connection as well.

    Regards.
