How can I add an organizer to an outlook calendar event?

I need to add an organizer to a standing outlook calendar event so when changes need to happen, we can affect them. How do I do that?

You used to be able to do this and now the feature is gone.

Really is frustrating not having this feature in 2023. Google calendar has had this feature for a long time and having this feature makes events much easier to reschedule and allows team contribution without siloing all this management onto a single individuals.

Not having this option makes it much harder to manage large events or events that are re-occurring and/or need to be canceled but the organizer is on PTO or busy.

FYI allowing other team members to manage ALL of another team member's calendar via "Delegates" is also not a "solution". Exposes the entire calendar of a user to the delegate vs a single event.

Hurray for Google getting one up on Microsoft. Since I mentioned that I thought this was once possible in Outlook, maybe it's a step backwards for Microsoft in the new non-Gates Days.

Agree with AndyDavid, as mentioned in the official article, Outlook does not provide a way to change a meeting organizer: Change the organizer.

As a supplement, if you created Appointments or all day events, we can add attendees but not change organizer either.

You would need to delete the meeting and have the new organizer create a new one. There is currently no way to change an organizer of a meeting.

How unfortunate. I read and maybe I even used it once upon a time back when Gates Days that it existed. Anyway, for a collaboration tool focused on teams, this is option is certainly not team friendly.
