All files in a SharePoint document library modified on the same day/time, but by what?

Question

I have a SharePoint document library that had some PDFs that got corrupted (they were showing as 1KB files). I was able to restore them to a previous version, however I saw that both files were modified on 7/6/22 to this 1KB version of the file.

Looking at the library, EVERY file in every folder of the library shows it was modified on this date around the same time (11:20-11:27am EDT), and indicate they were modified by SharePoint App. I'm not seeing this on other libraries.

How can I tell what caused this? My searches online indicate it could be a workflow, but my understanding is there should be no workflows on this site (it's primarily used as a Team). Is there a way to see what modified these files?

There are many reasons for the problem, let's take some measures to narrow down the scope of the problem first.
1,How do you find that they were modified by SharePoint App? Could you give me some screenshots?
2. Check whether your site contains the flow that causes this situation.
Go to the library, click Integrate and choose Power Automate-->See your flows. Then you will see all the flows in the site, and check one by one whether any flows caused this problem.

Hi,

This exact thing just happened to me. Overnight thousands of my pdf files were updated and now i can not view them anymore. What were once PDFs, now have this icon.
