Does the issue occur on a specific email?
What the exact error you get?

I'd like to know if you have tried to perform running an Office repair, uninstall and reinstall the Office program? The following are basic steps that might isolate what is causing the issue and running a diagnostic tool might help resolve your concern. See this link for the steps that you need to perform.
If that doesn't help, check if it is related to corrupted profile, it is recommended to create a new profile to test.
