When we want to add an ICAL URL which is protected by username + password (basic authentication) Outlook just adds the url, but does not request the credentials, in short, it does not work.
However, we want it to work. Is there any short term plan to support this?

    Hi @Egbertn ,

    Welcome to our forum!

How did you get the ICal URL?

Based on my test on the Google ICal URLs (without username + password), when i subscribed them in Outlook, they were also added directly. Combined with your test results, I'm afraid this should be the mechanism for subscribing to ICal calendar in Outlook.

To get this feature more quickly, it is recommended that you could post the functions you expect and your sincere suggestions on the website dedicated to collecting feedback. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. We sincerely welcome your suggestions, and thanks for your understanding and support!
