MIcrosoft licensing needed for Go Global - Graphon

I would like to understand if I need any Microsoft licenses at all, when running Graphon's Go Global . According to their website they do not need Microsoft RDS Licenses. However, since product accesses Windows Apps and Servers, I am not sure if there is any licensing at all needed to be compliant.

Copy/paste from their website:

" GO-Global® enables multi-user remote access to Microsoft® Windows® applications without using either Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS) or the multi-session kernel functionality built into Windows. Unlike products that wrap features around RDS, GO-Global provides full replacements for Microsoft’s multi-session functionality and its Remote Desktop clients, display driver, protocol, internet gateway, and management tools. GO-Global’s unique architecture eliminates the need for RDS components to be installed on Windows desktops or servers."

Thank you

    Hi,

If used on Windows Server, an RDS CAL and Windows Server CAL would be required for each device/user. Below excerpt is from the Product Terms for Windows Server, Access Licenses, RDS CALs:

*Also required for use of Windows Server to host a graphical user interface (using the Windows Server 2022 Remote Desktop Services functionality or other technology).

In essence, if hosting a graphical user interface then an RDS CAL/SL is required. Doesn't matter if you are using some, all, or none of RDS features.
