Logs information needed

Hello,

Please could you confirm the log file name where we could confirm the source of the Definition Updates downloaded in the following cases:

  • Standalone machine
  • Configuration Manager with internet
  • Configuration Manager without internet
    e.g.: WindowsUpdate.log, WUAHandler.log, UpdatesDeployment.log, UpdatesHandler.log, etc…

Also which log will have information when running:
SCEPInstall.exe /ForceClean

on machine :

  • Standalone machine
  • Configuration Manager with internet
  • Configuration Manager without internet

    Hi Dom,

    PatchDownloader.log provide information about the process for downloading software updates from the update source to the download destination on the site server.

    You can check EndpointProtectionAgen.log and MPLog-XX.log after using SCEPInstall.exe /ForceClean.
