Two-factor authentication on a single mailbox

I want to test two-factor authentication on a single mailbox in a hybrid Exchange environment before implementing it company-wide. Is that possible?

    Hi @LTSAdmin

    Yes you can do this using Conditional Access Policies. You can use the following guide to create a policy for MFA (All Users):

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/conditional-access/howto-conditional-access-policy-all-users-mfa#create-a-conditional-access-policy

    When you are choosing Assignments just assign to to a single user by selecting Select users and groups. (Do not use All users as this will assign the policy to everyone).

    Do you mean MFA? If so, you could follow steps below to only enable MFA for one mailbox:
