Will upgrading Windows 11 OEM license to Pro (using Microsoft Store) give me a product key that can later be used as a Windows 10 Pro key on another computer?

This is my problem:

  • I have Windows 11 Home OEM on my laptop (let's call it Laptop_1).
  • I need Windows Pro.
  • I want to upgrade it using Microsoft Store
  • In a few weeks I will move back to my secondary laptop that doesn't support Windows 11 (let's call it Laptop_2)
  • I will want to remove newly bought license for Windows Pro 11 from Laptop_1 and use it for Windows 10 Pro on Laptop_2

Will that be possible?

OEM computers have operating systems that are married to the motherboard.

An OEM pro operating system cannot be legitimately licensed and activated in another computer.

If it were a retail operating system it could be moved from one computer to another.
