Hi All,

A bit of a newbie, my IT dept does not give me developer access but thought I could check if I could still create the following with SharePoint online/M365 version we use:

I am trying to create a SharePoint List where for one field (titled Project) can have a user view or add multiple dates with an activity date decription. For e.g.

"Project ABC" when selected could have 3 dates and activities added:

  1. 15th Dec **(Date*)* - Discussion with vendor (activity date description )
  2. 17th Dec (Date) - Call suppliers (activity date description)
  3. 25th Dec (Date) - Enjoy Xmas (activity date description)

From what I have already read on this forum it sounds like the Project will be the Parent list and the Date and Activity description fields will be the child list. I am unclear how to join the lists together so when I go to a enter a new Project name (from the Parent SharePoint list), I can also see the date and activity fields on the same list so I can add one or more dates with their activity date descriptions to that Project name.

Happy to clarify if it's not clear, any help greatly appreciated :)

    Hi @Wande
Per my research, currently there is no ootb method to meet your requirement directly, we could only edit or add more through editing the Choice column.

What's more, if you want when "Project ABC" is selected, the value in column B could only be :

    1. 15th Dec **(Date*) - Discussion with vendor (activity date description )
    2. 17th Dec (Date) - Call suppliers (activity date description)
    3. 25th Dec (Date) - Enjoy Xmas (activity date description)*
you need to use power apps. For more information, you could refer to:
