Azure Portal's "G+/" hotkey is not always functional

In the Azure Portal, there is a Global Search function. When I want to move my keyboard cursor to that input box, I can hit "g" and a "/" key to move there. But this hotkey is not always functional.

I can reproduce this problem.

  1. Go to home: https://portal.azure.com/#home
  2. Mouse click on "Subscription" into this page: https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_Azure_Billing/SubscriptionsBlade
  3. Then use the keyboard hit "g" and "/" in sequence. The focus will not jump to search field.

    Azure technical support team has helped @Will 保哥 and the problem is solved now.

    The right way to use this hotkey is, press and hold "g" key, then press "/" after it.

    Sharing the learnings or resolution steps here so it might be beneficial to other community members reading this thread.

    For my keyboardlayout hold g + "*" is working.
