You do not have Permission to View this Object’s Security Properties in Windows Server 2012 Standard

Hi

I am the domain administrator.

I have a folder and I cannot access this. When I try to access this it gives me the below error:

"You do not currently have permission to access this folder"

When I click the 'continue' button and go to 'security tab', I can see the below msg:

"You must have read permissions to view the properties of this object. Click Advance to continue".

When I click Advance and try to change the ownership, I cannot change it and again shows the below msg:

"You do not have permission to view this object's security policy, even as an administrative user".

Please guide/assist me to fix this issue.

Could be some sort of file system corruption for which you can run chkdsk /f

I got the below after running chkdssk /f

C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk /f
The type of the file system is NTFS.
Cannot lock current drive.
Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use b
process. Would you like to schedule this volume
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)
