Hello there,
Windows automatically compresses a few files and folders to save space on your hard disk and when a file or folder gets compressed, Windows shows its name in blue color to make them easier to identify.
- Open Windows Explorer, click on Organize -> Folder and search options in command bar. Windows XP users will need to click on Tools -> Folder Options.
- It’ll open Folder Options window. Now go to “View” tab.
- Now look for an option “Show encrypted or compressed NTFS files in color“. It would be enabled by default if not select it and reboot the device.
Hope this resolves your Query !!
