Where are located default preferences for Excel on MacOS?

Hi,

I want to change some preferences used by default by Excel on MacOS, to be used for any new file.

Especially, I would like to set the calculation mode to automatic, but changing this in the Excel preferences windows (Excel Menu => Preferences) seems to have effect only on the opened workbook, not on all new files (default calculation preferences always reset to manual on my Mac for any new workbook)

How can I change this? Is there a "default template"? a Preferences file? where on the disk?

    Please refer to "Customize how Excel starts in Excel for Mac", you can try to create a template ("Book.xltx" or .xltm) for all new workbooks, save this file into Excel folder in Startup folder .
