DFS Replication not working

Question

Hello Experts,

We have two Windows 2016 servers in DFS and setup Replication.

But someHow other Member server one of Replication folder is not replicating and it went blank completely.

We tried to Remove Replication folder and replication Group from DFS hoping that It will start replicating but its not replicating ,

Upon checking event viewer we found that there is error : Error: 9098 (A tombstoned content set deletion has been scheduled)

I searched from internet and they suggested that to delete DFSR folder from System Volume information , But I do want not delete other Replication group and folders which is working fine.

So , How I can resume Replication or Recreate Replication OR how Can I change tombstoned time for DFS .

Hi @PT

Check if there is any blocking file in DfsrPrivate\Staging folder. Try to delete it. I think you are facing the same problem as here : DFSR Error : Error: 9098 (A tombstoned content set deletion has been scheduled
