Hello dears,

Teams software crashes automatically on windows server 2008 R2. It closes the Teams windows and after a few seconds it comes back with a message "We Are Sorry- We have run into an issue".

The clients are using Thin Clients. And they complain about the crash happening always. They are using online Teams on browser now.

I have cleared the cashes of the application of each user, and the issue is still the same.

I need your kind support to help me solve this issue.

And here is the error message from my server log.

I believe this issue occurs when users log off This causes the other users of the application to experience an application crash or unresponsiveness. This common with Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.

It may be the only solution is to upgrade to Server 2016.

    Hi @Safin Tofiq Ali

Kindly note that Windows Server 2008 R2 has reached end of support.

    Currently Teams is supported on:

Windows 11, Windows 10 (excluding Windows 10 LTSC for Teams desktop app), Windows 10 on ARM, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2. Note: We recommend using the latest Windows version and security patches available.

Please consider upgrading to a supported os.

    Thanks for your understanding.
