Multiple connections to urls from microsoft (edge?)

Hi,

our webgateway blocks constantly urls like http://msedge.b.tlu.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com/...

The MS-Article shows, that it is a endpoint for http downloads (https://learn.microsoft.com/de-de/deployedge/microsoft-edge-security-endpoints)

We already deactivated multiple things to prevent edge to look for new updates - I think the client is looking for updates / trying to download an update.

Do you have an idea or can you do something with this url?

I have no idea anymore.

    Hi @REYDH

Do you want to disable Edge updates? If so, no need to configure these urls, the only thing you need to do is deploying this group policy: Update policy override.

When deploying this policy, you need to choose the corresponding GP path according to your Edge version (Stable, Beta, Canary, Dev). Enable this policy and choose Updates disabled if you want updates never applied.

Note: This policy is available only on Windows instances that are joined to a Microsoft® Active Directory® domain.
