Run WindowsUpdate on the RDS server.

If I repeat that, the capacity of the c:\windows\installer folder exceeds 20GB, and the files of the past date remain.

I also tried disk cleanup, but the files didn't disappear. Is there some other way to remove these files?

    Hello

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to c:\windows\installer folder cleanup.

Windows installer cache is stored in the C:\Windows\Installer folder, which you shouldn't delete. This folder is used to keep crucial files for programmes installed using the Windows Installer technology.

Please note that It is not safe to delete or cleanup Installer folder

    Hello

    Thank you for your reply.

I understand that I shouldn't delete it, but the capacity is getting bigger and I'm looking for a way to delete it.

Since the same phenomenon has not occurred on other servers, and it has occurred only on the RDS server, is there any information about the cause?
