I was working on my work computer and I disconnected from the VPN and my document was saved prior to reconnecting. I can no longer find the pages that I wrote in the browse tab. I could only restore a version from the prior day. I need to updated document from approximately 30 minutes ago.

    Hi @Jessica Ayala

    • Could you please tell us where do you store this document?

If the document is stored on OneDrive, please refer to 'Restore a previous version of a file stored in OneDrive'.

    • If you have followed the steps mentioned in 'View previous versions of Office files', that you only recovered a version from the prior day, did you use Word online or Word desktop app? In Word desktop app, you may check the AutoRecover path via going to File > Options > Save > AutoRecover file location, then go to this location, find whether there is any .asd file of your document. If yes, I suggest you back it it up first, and open the .asd file to have a check.
