How to add a digital certificate to multiple Excel files

Question

We have a large number of existing xlsm files that need to be digitally signed with our certificate that was created for code signing on our domain. Is there a way around of having to open each individual file to manually add the digital certifcate? We'd also like to password protect the viewing of the code automatically as well.
