I received an email said that someone add my email as recovery and ask me to remove that email.
Is this a scam? or Microsoft sending to me?

Microsoft support agents use the following domains to send emails to our customers:
- microsoft.com
- microsoftsupport.com
- mail.support.microsoft.com
If the email claims to be from Microsoft, but the email is being sent from another email domain like microsoftsupport.org, it's probably a phishing scam. To spot phishing emails, see Protect yourself from phishing.

I suppose someone who has the necessary permissions has deleted it - but who will ever know as the thread indicator remains steadfast that Rob Caplan - MSFT made a comment. Of course, with this forum, one must use a pinch of salt with anything posted! BTW: Rob Caplan - MSFT profile still says he posted the comment - should really say xxx deleted it - shouldn't it?

While we have been dealing with caching issues - we are experiencing a spam attack that is likely impacting the site and exacerbating the posting/cache issues. The team is working on mitigating it.
