Microsoft Secure Score inaccuracy

Hi,

Re: Cases #: 35605646 & 36003161

I have noticed these two Microsoft Secure Score data recommended actions have recently regressed in two Australian tenancies. These two recommended actions are suggesting that these have not been completed:

  • Create Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies
  • Publish M365 sensitivity label data classification policies
    Microsoft Secure Score

In both tenancies, these data-based recommended actions regressed on the 7th of April and haven't reconciled back to their true state since then. In both tenancies, the DLP policies and sensitivity labels had already been created, published and have been in effect for months, and have been and are still effectively working across both web and client apps, e.g.: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.

It seems to be a coincidence that these two separate tenancies have regressed on these two same recommended actions on the same day, especially when both tenancies have not had any changes pertaining to these data-based recommended actions for DLP and labels, and both environments can still utilize labels, the DLP policies are still working, etc.

Hopefully this provides additional context and look forward to your response. Thanks

@Simon Magrin Apologies for the delayed response, regarding this issue "Secure Score regressed by 5 points due to DLP policies" few community members reported this issue as well after which i discussed this with my team.

They investigated further and there is a fix for the same will be deployed by the 2nd week of May, however if you have anything else to discuss let me know we can connect offline and discuss further over the teams.

Let me know if you have any further questions, feel free to post back.

Hi @Givary-MSFT , looks like those two data recommended actions have regained their full scores again from the 30/04/23. Thanks for your help on this. Kind Regards.
