While using the immersive reader in the office lens app, I noticed the option of enabling reading coach. However I don't receive a dialog screen about allowing the microphone access. When I access the settings on an iPhone or iPad (iOS) I also can't give the microphone access. It seems this is missing. I've this checked in the list of apps and also in the privacy settings.

I am about to go mad. I cannot get Lens to ask for microphone access in the immersive reader app. I have tried everything. Checked all Microsoft Apps. Did you ever get a solution?
No, I've never found a solution. The problem remains. I'm going to try on X/Twitter.
I even tried on my phone, I tried deleting the app. Nothing. No way to get it to work on a mobile device. If I figure it out I will report back. Thank you for having the same issue!
I've received a reaction from MicrosoftEDU on X and they provided me with a link to report the problem to their service regarding all tools for Education. I'll keep you posted!
I'm going to answer my own question because I've received some feedback.
The reading coach feature is not supported in the Lens app, nor will it be supported in the near future.
