Am trying to login using gmail connector but It gives constant error of "Create and authorize OAuth connection failed". I created credentials in google cloud and also unabled the gmail api, but still it is failing. It also asked to add Authorized redirect URIs , that also added but still the error is coming attaching the ss below Screenshot (153)

@saurabh daund Thanks for reaching out. As per the error you haven't completed the google verification process and getting the 403 access denied issue. Please follow the steps again as documented here and make sure that you are clicking on Allow button.

Note : The Gmail connector works only with the Logic App (Consumption) resource type, not the Logic App (Standard) resource type.

Hey, am doing everything as of this document only but I have no success still I created the oauth in google clound got the credentials , but still it has the same issue!

Create and authorize OAuth connection failed.

It is not able to sign in only, am stuck at it since 2 days please give me a reliable solution not sure where its going wrong!

My subscription is pay as you go, does it has anything to do with it?

@saurabh daund There are two ways of authenticating the gmail connector i.e. Use default shared application and Bring your own application. It looks like you are using the "Bring your own application" authentication and when you use https://mail.google.com scope then your application needs to be verified from google to be used. You can review the OAaut API FAQ from google here.

Only once it is approved you will be able to access and authenticate. If you are using Gmail consumer account, you cannot select Internal and therefore it needs verification from google end. Reference: https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/oauth2/production-readiness/brand-verification?hl=en#projects-used-in-dev-test-stage

The workaround will be using the "Use default shared application" option in the connector if you cannot verify your application.

Let me know if you need any assistance from logic app end and still facing the issue with "default shared application" authentication.

@saurabh daund I have further read through the google document and if you are testing the application then you don't need to verify it. In this case you don't have to publish your google app for verification. You only need to make sure that you are adding your gmail account as tester on your application so it work for testing application without approval. Please make sure to add the redirect url as https://global.consent.azure-apim.net/redirect/gmail. I will reach out to the document team to update the url as it looks like it has changed. The same error is returned from the google end as your initial image shared.

Once I completed the above steps, I was able to authenticate the connector using the "Bring your own application" method. In case if you need any assistance then I can connect with you offline to assist you further.

I have the same exact issue.

I'm using consumption mode and the default shared application. I have the popup to autorize logic app and then, it fails logicapp
