Windows roaming user profiles and Outlook ost files inaccessible

Good morning,

Since the implementation of roaming profiles without copying OST files (to lighten the server and avoid lengthy session opening times), a message is displayed when opening Outlook:

"ost file inaccessible because configured to be used with a different mailbox".

the mailboxes are configured in IMAP

By deleting the OST file, outlook opens again and reloads all mails.

Is there a solution to not synchronize OST files and not to reload all mails (delete OST file)?

Thanks.

    Hi @Maxime LEFAUCONNIER ,

    Welcome to our forum!

Do you configure several accounts in one Outlook profile?

If so, it suggested that you could try to create a new profile (Control Panel>Mail>Show Profiles>add) and add the account for testing to check if there are some differences.
