Hi

In https://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/windows/en-US/803f2635-a23b-4370-8974-7087351498a6/how-to-disable-rd-connection-broker-load-balancing?forum=winserverTS it is mentioned to set up a GPO with Use RD Connection Broker load balancing set to Disabled (found under Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\RD Connection Broker).

For my setup, I need this. So I have 1 machine with the connection broker role and 2 machines with the session host role. This GPO is linked (and now active) to the RDSH (RD Session Host) servers. I have no issue launching any of my applications in my RD collection so all seems to work fine.

But with this GPO, is it expected to have: "Error: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service" error events? On RDCB: Event ID 802 and on RDSH: Event ID 1296 and 1306 (all events listed below are from the same timestamp)

RDSH: Microsoft-Windows-TerminalServices-SessionBroker-Client/Operational

#Error event 1306
Remote Desktop Connection Broker Client failed to redirect the user
MYDOMAIN\my_user.
Error: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.

#Error event 1296
Remote Desktop Connection Broker Client failed while getting redirection packet from Connection Broker.
User : MYDOMAIN\my_user
Error: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.

#Verbose event 1301
Remote Desktop Connection Broker Client received request for redirection.
User : MYDOMAIN\my_user
RDP Client Version : 5

RDCB: Microsoft-Windows-TerminalServices-SessionBroker/Admin

#Error event 802
RD Connection Broker failed to process the connection request for user MYDOMAIN\my_user.
Error: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.

It is not really clear to me what "system resources" "exist" that are "insufficient" or where to find out...

Best regards,

Diederik
