Hi everyone,

If I have password policy settings applied through the "Default Domain Policy" and I would like to create another password policy using GPO on specific users reside in specific OU. How doable is that the OU will get the password policy I have created instead of the default domain policy?

    Hello Abdulrahman,

Thank you for posting in our Q&A forum.

One domain only has one password policy, that is the password policy within the "Default Domain Policy" object.
If you want to set different password policy for users or user group, you can set up FGPP in this domain.

For the same users or groups, if there is a default domain password policy and FGPP is applied, the priority of FGPP is higher than the default domain password policy.

For more information about how to set up FGPP, we can read the link below.

Hope the information above is helpful. If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.
