Salesforce Custom permission sets added to users

Hello Everyone,

I have created an SSO between my Azure AD and Salesforce. I am currently getting my users profile's added through provisioning. I am now trying to get permission sets added though as well so everything gets added at once and take time away from having to add permission sets to new users.

I was reading this article.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/roles/custom-create

But I am not seeing some of the steps in the salesforce application in Microsoft AD

On step 2 I am missing the "New custom role" at the top and can not follow along.

I have attached a screenshot of what I am seeing.

Can someone assist me in what I am doing wrong, Or if this is a possible task?

Thanks !

    Hi @Thobbs ,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    I understand

For some reason, your screenshot has been missed, but I am assuming you are trying to add a new custom role for your Salesforce application but not getting the option to add custom role in the page.

You might be trying to access the Role and Administrators from your Salesforce application.

Custom roles are created and managed at an organization-wide level and are available only from the organization's Overview page.

Navigate to your Azure Active Directory and select Roles and Administrators under manage.

If my understanding is not correct, please let me know to help you further.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks,

    Shweta
