Hello Microsoft,

I have tried to stop updates on my computer since they are taking a little too much space and i have 28 gigs of space in total and 1 gig left i cant install cumulative update i have tried different methods to stop them but they wont work. I also tried to stop it by pausing them but it was temporary max for a month. Is there any way i can stop windows updates permanently? because not only my disk space but also my internet is being used and the update is still on pending from days since no space in disk. even though updates are important but some machines are not able to install them. I hope you come up with a solution for this as soon as possible.

Stopping updates is not a solution.

There are many ways to stop or, disable updates but I won't recommend this as updates are required to keep your system running in great condition.

You have to find out why it is consuming so much of storage space.
