Hello!
If you accidentally deleted your multi-factor authentication (MFA) settings on your Windows account and are now locked out, don't worry! You can try a few things to get back in:
- Try using an alternate authentication method like a PIN, picture password, or security questions. Just click "Sign-in options" on the login screen to access them.
- If you have a local account set up on your computer, give that a shot. Again, just click "Sign-in options" and then select "Local account" or "Other user" and enter the right credentials.
- If you have access to another administrator account on the same computer, use that to log in and modify the settings of your original account. Just go to Control Panel, User Accounts, and manage the settings of your original account from there.
- If none of those work, try using Windows installation media to access the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) and make changes to your account. This one can be a bit trickier, so make sure you have some technical knowledge or administrative access to help you out.
Hope this helps you get back into your account! Just remember, some of these methods might be a bit more complicated than others, so be prepared.
