Can you add images to a SharePoint O365 Group Calendar event?

Is there a way to add images to the events that are displayed within the Group Calendar web part on a SharePoint site? We have a calendar that syncs with one of our O365 accounts - it is used as a company-wide events calendar. Our communications teams wants the events to look nicer by customizing them with images. Is that possible to do?

Per my test, there is no option to add images into SharePoint Group Calendar web part.

Until now, in the SharePoint Group Calendar web part, the only setting is to choose which Microsoft 365 group.

You could make the suggestion in the feedback portal to improve user experience.
