Hello,

When I try to RDP connect to Windows 11 Pro (version 22H2 - OS build 22621.1778) PC from my MacOS Big Sur (11.6.5) using Microsoft Remote Desktop Beta (Version 10.8.4 (2101) I connect without any issues.

When I try to connect from another Windows 11 PC - RDP does not work. I tried with native Remote Desktop Connection & Microsoft Remote Desktop app (version 10.2.3006.0) nothing works, I get errors 0x204 & 0x4.

Both Mac computer & Windows 11 computer on are on same network. I'm not sure why I cannot connect from PC machine, but I can from MAC?

    Hello

One of the most common problems with error code 0x204 is an instance of Remote Desktop Protocol not enabled on your Windows computer. In this case, you can manually enable it through the System Properties screen and allow network-level connections to resolve the issue.

However, this could also be caused by your firewall (since the process used by Remote Desktop is exploited by many malware). In order to fix this, in this case, you need to establish exclusion rules, disable real-time protection, or completely uninstall third-party security suites.
