Hi,

I have interesting question.

Is there a way to set folder permissions so I can save file without possibility to edit/modify/delete.

I can save file and I can read only folder content.

    Hello @Lukasz Czerwinski
you can specify list content permission for the folder
and for the specific file you set permission as Edit
you description is little bit contreversery , saving a file in a specific location is mean that you have by default modify permission in that file then depending in what location "folder" that you have access or not.
Maybe if you can specify more the need or the user cas you have so we can provide rafine solution

    Thank you

    Hi Lukasz,

We can set/modify permission to drives/folders in windows 10/11, the process in mentioned below.

    • How to set permission for the folder you want to share for Everyone:

Press and hold (or right-click) the shared folder.

Select Properties, and then select Advanced Sharing on the Sharing tab.

Select Permissions, Check/Uncheck Allow for Full Control/Change or Read for Everyone/Selected users, and then press Enter.

Select OK on the Advanced Sharing dialog box.

    • How to allow a Full Control/Change/read permission to Everyone/Selected users:

Press and hold (or right-click) the shared folder.

Select Edit on the Security tab.

Select Add/Remove, Everyone/Specific user in the Enter the object names to select field, and then press Enter.

Check/Uncheck Allow for Full control/Modify/Read & execute/List folder contents/Read/Write/Special permissions and Advanced permissions for Everyone/specific users, and press Enter.
