    Hi DG

If you're seeing a warning message about high round trip time and potential network slowness in your Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) session, there are a few steps you can take to try and improve the situation:

    1. Check your network connection: Ensure that your local network connection is stable and functioning properly. Check if other devices on your network are experiencing any issues. If possible, try connecting to the internet using a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi to eliminate potential wireless interference.
    2. Optimize your internet speed: Verify that your internet connection speed meets the recommended requirements for a smooth RDP experience. Contact your internet service provider (ISP) to ensure you have the appropriate bandwidth for reliable RDP connections.
    3. Close unnecessary applications: If you have multiple applications or processes running on your local device, consider closing any non-essential applications to free up system resources. This can help improve the performance of your RDP session.
    4. Check the performance of the remote machine: If the warning message appears consistently and affects your overall experience, it's worth checking the performance of the remote machine you are connecting to. Factors such as CPU usage, available memory, and disk performance on the remote machine can impact the responsiveness of the RDP session. Contact the administrator of the remote machine to investigate and optimize its performance if needed.
    5. Adjust RDP settings: You can modify the RDP settings to optimize the connection for better performance. In the Remote Desktop Connection window, click on the "Show Options" button to access additional settings. In the "Experience" tab, try adjusting the connection speed and reducing the visual effects to optimize performance over a slower network.
    6. Use RemoteFX (if available): If your remote machine supports RemoteFX, a technology that enhances the RDP experience, make sure it is enabled. RemoteFX provides better graphics and multimedia capabilities in RDP sessions and can help mitigate issues related to slow network connections.
    7. Consider using a VPN: If you are accessing the remote machine over the internet, using a virtual private network (VPN) can provide an added layer of security and potentially improve the connection stability.
