Hi,

We created a custom application inside Microsoft Teams (using Teams Exploratory Trial) and published it to App Store 2 years back. And our customers have been using the custom application after installing it into their Teams accounts from the App Store since then.

We received an email recently from Microsoft saying that our Teams Exploratory Trial is expiring. We get that users in our Tenant will lose access to Teams in case we don't buy the subscription. But we want to what happens to our customers using our custom application. Will they get impacted too?

    @Veera

    If your Teams Exploratory Trial subscription expires, your customers who have installed your custom application from the App Store will still be able to use it.

    However, they may not be able to access certain features of your application that require the Teams Exploratory Trial subscription. It's important to note that if you want to continue developing and publishing custom applications for Teams, you will need to have an active Teams subscription. Without a subscription, you won't be able to access the Teams App Studio or publish new applications to the App Store.
