Hi,

I got a new job & I need to return my work laptop which administrator removed my access to it. So when I select my account it rejects my password.

Laptop is still on but I cannot login.

Is there any way I can copy some of my files from my work laptop to my own laptop ? '

Thank you

    1. Cloud storage: You can upload the files you want to transfer tocloud storage services like Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive, and then download them on your personal laptop.
    2. USB flash drive: You can copy the files to a USB flash drive and then plug it into your personal laptop to transfer the filesa cloud storage service like Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox. Once the files are uploaded, you can log in to the same cloud storage account on your personal laptop to download the files.
    3. USB drive: You can save the files you want to transfer onto a USB drive and then plug the drive into your personal laptop. You can then copy the files onto your personal laptop.
    4. Network sharing: If you are on the same network, you can share the files from your work laptop to your personal laptop. You can do this by right-clicking on the folder you want to share, selecting “Properties”, then “Sharing”, and then “Advanced Sharing”. From there, you can choose who you want to share the folder with and set permissions.
    5. Email: If the files are not too large, you can email them to yourself from your work laptop and then download them on your personal laptop.

It's important to check with your IT department or employer about their policies on transferring files from work laptops to personal devices. Some workplaces may have security restrictions in place that prevent this.
