Hi @Swamy Nathan Greetings! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. Thank you for posting the question here. This is an interesting thought. Here are a few resources I have found on Architectural implementation which implements IoT with AI.

    1. Environment monitoring and supply chain optimization with IoT
    2. Use AI to forecast customer orders
    3. Implement real-time anomaly detection for conveyor belts
    4. End-to-end computer vision at the edge for manufacturing

The articles presented may not be talking about the architecture in logistics. These articles provide a generic architecture solution that can be extrapolated to build custom use cases. For example, the AI model in the article link 1 is trained to predict wildfire prediction models. We can use historical order data and train the models to forecast a specific region which might need more fleet to handle peak demand.

Similarly, we can modify the architecture in End-to-end computer vision at the edge for manufacturing to predict the product demand in the warehouse and automate the process of contacting manufacturers to prevent from running low on inventory.

Hope these resources provide some context and clarity to your question. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Hi!

The integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) devices within the freight forwarding industry allows for real-time monitoring of cargo conditions, such as temperature and humidity. This ensures that perishable goods are carefully handled, reducing spoilage and saving companies from significant financial losses.
On the other hands, AI and ML (Machine Learning) can analyze massive amounts of data and identify patterns and trends that humans might miss. By leveraging this technology, freight forwarders can make data-driven decisions, optimize routes, and improve supply chain visibility. This not only helps to reduce costs but also enhances operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

You can find more information of AI and IoT usage in logistics sectors in this article https://forwarder.ai/article/emerging-technologies-in-digital-freight-forwarding
