Unable to read data from COMM Port using mscomm32.ocx in SAP Program Windows 10

Question

Hi Experts,

I have developed SAP Program to read data from serial port by using MSCOMM32.OCX file.

I have registered the file sucessfull in the system and also maintained Registry information for the same, now my SAP system is connecting to serial port correctly which I have checked by allowing it to connect and then trying to connect Hyperterminal, but still my program is unable to read data from the port.

I have same program which is working fine in Windows 7 but not on Windows 10. Can anyone help me identify this issue.

Hello

Thank you for your question and reaching out.

This is something you need to Debug using Program Editor For example Visual studio using breakpoints to see where it got stuck.
