Hi,
I am facing the below error when a Synapse pipeline with Databricks notebook activity is used -
Error code: OK
Inner error code: BadRequest
Message: Databricks Activity Not Supported.
This seems to be a bug in the Synapse Studio as everything was running fine till yesterday.
If I run the pipeline manually in the debug mode it runs successfully, there are no validation errors as well. This data bricks activity simply calls a notebook using a job cluster (by connecting to the instance pool) and runs some specific code.
Can someone please help?

Same error here, and is very strange cause i`v made the deploy last weak and worked fine.

Same question from yesterday in this post: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1328284/cannot-publish-any-pipelines-with-notebook-activit. Still an issue eventhough MSFT rep says that the MSFT code was rolled back yesterday.

The issue is specific to the synapse workspace region. Currently, I see this issue in West US and South East Asia.
I am checking with PG and get back to you with an update.

PG acknowledged the issue, and they are working on the hotfix deployment.
Below are the affected regions:
westeurope
uksouth
westcentralus
southcentralus
eastus
westus

I will update this thread when I hear something from the PG.

Hi @Bhargava-MSFT - I can confirm that the issue is resolved and now I can publish the Synapse pipeline (I am using the westeurope region).
