What's the solution to this problem?

Windows Server 2016, fully updated.

Microsoft Edge is installed, set as default browser and yet it won't work.

Thank you.

    @PBMc

    You logged in to Edge browser with your global admin credentials. Post that you came back to AD connect and got the MFA satisfied by using an alternate method.

    Above was a work around. You can also try below approach to fix this as well,

    Browse to URL mysignins.microsoft.com, then logging on with your account in question. Once logged on, you will notice a validation page where you will have to click OK on. It will be something like a verification for your MFA configuration. Once you click OK, you will then able to go back and log on with this account.

    Let me know if this helps.

    Please "Accept the answer" if the information helped you. This will help us and others in the community as well.

    Is the Azure account you are using MFA enabled?

    Can you exclude it temporarily for the install if upgrading the browser is not a fix?
